Fuji Spray — Why Choose This Brand

Fuji Spray leads in quality, performance, and innovation.

This Canadian company, founded in 1986, has earned awards and high praise for continual refinement of HVLP turbines and spray guns, expanding recently adding the Fuji Auto division with innovative compressor guns.

Nearly every year, Fuji Spray refines an existing product or adds a new one. This is a vibrant company dedicated to the best possible spraying experience and smoothest results — at moderate prices for both the professional and serious DIY user. Older Fuji Spray products keep on chugging along, too! I can prove that from personal experience.

Fuji Spray patents include:

  • Fuji Spray Q PLATINUM technology to bring turbine sound level down to the level of an average conversation — used on all the Fuji Spray Q HVLP systems.

  • Fuji Spray Noise Reduction Covers — Direct sound paths are avoided with these innovative turbine filter covers. Air is drawn in through a large rear aperture and specially designed finger slots. All the Mini-Mite and Q Platinum system turbines include this noise reduction feature.

  • Fuji Spray Heat Dissipation Box — Exhaust air is diffused through 60 small holes at the rear of the turbine, adding to motor life and minimizing dust heat and dust that might otherwise disturb the spraying area. All the Mini-Mite and Q Platinum system turbines include this noise reduction feature in addition to the noise reduction covers.

  • The luxury Fuji Spray T70 and T75G spray guns include the Fuji Spray patented Pattern Control Knob, side-mounted for quick, convenient pattern size adjustments while spraying.

  • The Fuji T70 and T75G spray guns also feature Fuji Spray patented Stay-Cool handles, ergonomically designed for comfort even during long spray sessions.

Fuji Spray features include all metal turbine cases and spray gun bodies, stainless steel fluid passages in spray guns, and continually refined spray cups.

For example, the T75G gravity-fed spray gun comes with a nylon cup that requires no gasket, which saves on part replacements.

The Fuji Spray 2095 1-quart cups for the T70 bottom-feed spray gun feature a new, refined set of internal parts.

I sell only Fuji SPRaY equipment because of my own professional experience

That very first Fuji turbine held up for many years of full-time use under tough conditions.

That very first Fuji turbine held up for many years of full-time use under tough conditions.

As a professional cabinet refinisher, I was often spraying under in a cramped kitchens without enough ventilation or in a dusty shop. This was hard on my equipment. When I began using HVLP turbine spray systems, I went through six different turbines in several different brands. All of them went bad in three to 15 months. Finally I bought a Fuji.

At the time it was the only brand that carried a two-year warranty. That first Fuji system I bought lasted many more years than two!

It’s my experience and confidence in Fuji that convinced me to begin selling Fuji Spray systems — as a great value for a great product.

When you check out a recent video of using an old Mini-Mite 5 spray system to paint a shed, you’ll see how durable Fuji Spray HVLP systems really are.

things to like about Fuji Spray HVLP equipment:

Mini-Mite 5 Platinum Award

Mini-Mite 5 Platinum Award

  • 24-month warranty on parts and labor.

  • Metal cases on the turbines.

  • The Fuji Mini-Mite Platinum 4 and 5, and the Fuji Platinum Q have all won top ranking in professional comparison reviews, for performance, ease of use, comfort, quality, and value.

  • Fuji leads in quality, performance, and innovation.

Small Things that Matter

  • All the Fuji spray guns are “non-bleed” — which means that they spray only when the trigger is pulled. You don’t have to turn off the system when you move to a new area to spray.

  • The hose that comes with Fuji Spray systems is 25 feet long. This makes it easy to keep the turbine 15 to 20 feet away from the spray gun.

  • Fuji hoses have quick-connect fittings at both ends.

  • The turbine filters are easier to remove than on most brands (according to comparison tests at Wood Magazine.

  • Fuji HVLP spray systems include a viscosity cup, for testing the flowability of the finish so you know how much to thin it.

Fuji leads in innovation.

The fan pattern control on the Fuji T70, T75G, and Gxpc spray guns is patented, as are the heat dissipation and noise control covers on the Mini-Mite Platinum turbines, and the the noise reduction technology used in the Fuji Platinum Q turbines.

As Fuji Spray explains the noise reduction on the Platinum Q systems:

Fuji Spray® has reduced turbine noise levels by over 50% without causing any unwanted challenges, such as overheating through air restriction. Fuji Spray® does not surround the turbine motor with soundproofing material, but rather uses a method that allows the turbine motor to sit in an all-metal enclosure the way that standard turbines do.

The Fuji Spray® Quiet turbines have computer-designed airflow configurations that completely eliminate ‘direct sound paths’ found on ALL low- to mid-priced HVLP turbine systems available today. These direct sounds paths, or DSP’s, are responsible for the noise.

In fact, when the Fuji Spray® Quiet turbine is placed across the room, the low hiss of air passing through the spray gun when the trigger is engaged is more noticeable than the turbine. Fuji Spray® Q PLATINUM™ Series turbines are protected by US Patent No.6644913.

At 15ft, the Q3 PLATINUM™ Turbine is only 61 dba, and at 20ft, it is 58 dba.
At 15ft, the Q4 PLATINUM™ Turbine is only 62 dba, and at 20ft it is 59 dba.
At 15ft, the Q5 PLATINUM™ Turbine is only 63 dba, and at 20ft it is 60 dba.

Compare this to a standard turbine at 79 dba from 15ft and 77 dba from 20ft. normal conversation is 60 dba. The Q PLATINUM™ Series turbine. There are no quieter turbines on the market today.
